The Import Collection is proud to announce the release of our new brand Kavana. Kavana is a design forward and collection-based assortment of home decor, wall art and accent furniture products. Kavana products are being developed by inhouse designers and manufactured by artisan craftsmen around the world. Kavana products will combine an elevated brand aesthetic with unique piece types, detailed finish work and complementary products for virtually all decor settings. The Import Collection plans to leverage their 40-year history within the industry to build Kavana to over 2000 unique products that appeal to both retail and design customers.

The development process for Kavana begins with our dedicated design team, based in California and Oklahoma, that spend countless hours researching trends in design, color, material and functionality. From this research, the design team develops hundreds of product ideas and partners with artisan craftsmen from around the world to bring these product ideas to life. The artisan craftsmen leverage their extensive experience to create the unique shapes, combination of materials, and finish work that is the hallmark of the Kavana brand. Each Kavana product is made in small batches with extensive hand touches and finishes that ensures one of a kind uniqueness for each product.

Kavana products are specifically designed to incorporate the latest trends in materials and finish work by the Kavana design team. Our designs incorporate a wide variety of materials, including: ceramic, resin, glass, metal, fabric, stone, and wood. The artisan craftsmen team combines these high quality materials with gorgeous finish work that make each Kavana piece standout in any room decor setting.

Kavana means purpose, intent and direction which underscores our goal of creating unique luxury products with a high perceived value yet at an affordable price.
